Keeping a Stiff Upper Lip, regardless...

The mark of a gentleman: Arron Raw Esq

Posted on September 26, 2018 by Captain P. Fawcett

In the distant days of yore, when Her Majesty Queen Victoria sat firmly on the throne and Great Britain truly ruled the waves, Sutherland Macdonald, lately returned from serving in the British Army, raised the shutters on his newly opened Tattoo parlour situated above a Turkish Bath House in London’s fashionable St James’s.

Inked body art had long been celebrated in cultured circles from Japan to the Middle East and those who had travelled in such romantic destinations were well aware that a carefully considered Tattoo has always been the mark of a Gentleman. Thus, 76 Jermyn Street, a thoroughfare well known to this day as showcasing the very best in masculine culture, attracted an esteemed clientele that included a significant number of the Crowned Heads of Europe, an odd, very odd, Maharajah along with a smattering of the nobility and sundry thrown in for good measure.

Although the Sun dimmed and set on the British Empire, it remains that a new tattoo is still the proud emblem of those determined to make their mark.

Skin thus penned by needle and ink deserves the very best tattoo after care available to both soothe sensitivity & promote healing whilst preserving the vibrancy and contrast of each artwork.

And how, you may well ask, does one locate the best lotion for tattoos? In my endeavours to offer an answer, I turned to those somewhat battered journals wherein notes from my travels describe the influence of certain healing oils which might be effectively employed in the creation of a fine tattoo ointment.

Captain Fawcett’s Tattoo After Care Salve has been developed to calm, moisturise and assist healing. A fragrance free blend of Rice Bran Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil & Shea Butter infused with extracts of Flame Tree & Snake Vine. Ingredients historically used by Aboriginal people in bush medicine’ these botanicals are naturally high in antioxidants, have powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that both aid skin repair and act as a sunscreen helping prevent damage by UV light.

Furthermore, The Captain is delighted to report that his very own Tattoo Salve has been endorsed and is highly recommended by none other than the World renowned Inkmeister Arron Raw Esq. of Raw Tattoo.

“Captain Fawcett’s simply remarkable Tattoo After Care Salve with extracts of natural anti-inflammatory Dragon’s Blood & Snake Vine, accelerates soothingly cool healing. It’s incredibly good.”
