ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The name Scapicchio is synonymous with one of the world’s most distinguished barbering dynasties. Since Signor Vincenzo Scapicchio first opened his shop in 1820, seven generations have passed down the noble art from father to son and indeed, daughter. Masters of the vintage Italian fixed blade style, their famed Accademia continues these time-honoured traditions. The soap’s fragrance honours Luigi’s great-grandfather, who journeyed to Chicago in 1910 to open his first Italian barbershop…and in due course became trusted barber to one Al Capone. But therein, as they say, lies another story…
