Grooming products win gold and Silver at the Pure Beauty Awards
Captain Fawcett is delighted, immensely proud and altogether tickled pink to announce his winning of not one, but two industry esteemed prizes in this year’s Pure Beauty Awards. Huzzah!
First past the post is Captain Fawcett’s rather spiffing ‘Expedition Reserve Hydrating Daily Moisturiser’ winning Gold in the ‘Best New Male Skin Care Product’ category. I say, how simply splendid!
And coming a close second is Captain Fawcett’s Signature Series ‘Alessandro Manfredini Eau De Parfum’ bagging Silver in the ‘Best New Niche Fragrance’ category. By Jove whatever next?! Suffice to say an award not to be sniffed at, what?!
I should reiterate that it has caused particular pleasure to be thus distinguished in this, the 20th anniversary year of the prestigious Pure Beauty Awards, which celebrate the very best in innovative cosmetics. In truth, there are literally hundreds of entries from world renown brands, so it was rather a thrill for all at Fawcett HQ to have even been shortlisted.
The knowledge that the final determining votes are cast by the good old general public adds cachet to the accolade of winning both a Silver and a Gold Award really rather wonderful.
It’s a truly remarkable honour to be recognised on a global and, may I venture, glittering stage. Well done to all the other highly regarded participants. Captain Fawcett is indubitably over the moon to be acknowledged amid such illustrious company.

Alas, the Captain was leading a search party somewhere on the upper slopes of the Kangchenjunga massif and was therefore unable to attend the ceremony hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race UK icon and drag queen superstar Cheryl Hole in London. Dash it all!
However he was delighted to hear Pure Beauty Magazine’s magnificent editor Sarah Parsons, say: “For two decades Pure Beauty has both recognised and honoured the best of brand and products on the market. This year was certainly no different as we shined a spotlight on those in the industry who inspire with their outstanding product launches, storytelling, and social innovation.
“Every award was well-deserved and it was the highlight of the year to celebrate all of your achievements throughout 2021. Congratulations to all of the winners!”
