October Edit in which he ponders autumn essentials

Here in Blighty, crisp mornings herald the immediate unfolding of tweed and woollen sweaters. Indeed, it is thus, comfortably attired, that I write to you from my study, savouring the aroma of a freshly brewed pot of coffee whilst contemplating a return to slower rituals. The satisfying crunch of leaves beneath one’s boots, the call of pink-foot geese in the Norfolk skies, the warmth of a smooth whisky by the fire! A time for indulgence, rest and refinement. Indeed, I’d wager autumn is the veritable Season of the Gentleman, what?!

Let the cooler weather be an invitation to add a delectable touch of luxury to one’s daily routine. As such, I hereby present the Captain’s preferred seasonal selection for a gentleman’s autumn grooming kit, redolent with smoky scents and nourishing concoctions to keep you feeling fine and dandy. I believe this may well be my cue to pour a second cup of coffee…how delightful!
