And all proceeds from the bar will go to Make-A-Wish, the charity that makes dreams come true for seriously ill children and their families. Just what Christmas is all about, what?!
Irreverent internet sensation Thomas Benjamin Wilde Esq will return to the delightfully intimate surroundings of Captain Fawcett’s Emporium in King’s Lynn for one of the most popular Christmas events in Norfolk! A good old fashioned knees-up LIVE at 7.15pm (doors open 6.45pm) on Thursday 1st December 2022. And this time he’s brought his chums!
Join viral star Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq, London cabaret virtuoso Tom Carradine and special guest Madam Misfit for an evening of sing-along-fun and musical humour! Expect plenty of laughter, raucous audience participation and they may even play a song or 2 together! I say!
The banjolele-playing, tweedy troubadour Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq will play his trademark pithy ditties combining racy early 20th century wit and punk rock sensibility - social and political commentary at its catchiest! While Tom Carradine takes us back to the Good Old Days, with songs from the music hall era, WWI and II, the West End stage and traditional popular songs from across the decades. The gentlemen will be joined by magnificent Madam Misfit with her unique steampunk electroswing, adored in cocktail bars, gin joints, circus tents, burlesque nights, music festivals, cabarets and the most exclusive invitation-only hush-hush private parties.
A night of wonder will unfold against the truly extraordinary backdrop of Captain Fawcett’s 'Marvellous Barbershop Museum’, one of the UK’s quirkiest private collections, celebrating centuries of tonsorial craftsmanship at the most remarkable Emporium in Norfolk, perchance the world!
