To be recognised in such outstanding company is truly a huge honour, shared by the Right Hand Man and whole Fawcett crew including the Captain's highly esteemed colleagues, friends and distributors across the globe.

Now in their second year, the awards recognise and celebrate the global trading success of small businesses from across all Nations and regions of the UK.

New UN figures show the UK was the 4th largest exporter of goods and services globally in 2022, moving up from 7th in the rankings in 2021. The potential for economic growth and expansion opportunity through international trade is incredibly exciting.

Marco Forgione, Director General of the The Institute of Export & International Trade commented: ‘The evidence continues to tell us that businesses that trade internationally are more sustainable, more resilient, more innovative, employ more people and, ultimately, are more profitable.’

Certainly Captain Fawcett’s experience has found Marco's observation to be true. Not only do export markets form almost 80% of our company's revenue, having a wide international customer base made all the difference when bricks and mortar trading stalled during the Covid pandemic.
