Private Lily and I had the great pleasure of attending the World Beard & Moustache Championships from 2nd to 4th October in beautiful Leogang, Austria. Much fun was had, and I would like to thank our genial hosts for a splendidly warm welcome. The inimitable Mr Iain Crockart took some super photographs of the hirsute contestants, all of which can be viewed on my Facebook page.

#Project60 is a monumental portrait series featuring some of the world’s most famous bearded gentlemen, and now also a delightful lady by the name of Harnaam Kaur. It has been masterminded by Mr Elbank, an esteemed English photographer who has recently returned from Australia after nine years of award winning work to create this timeless artifact with an important, life-saving message.

The Captain and a few of his very dear chums were delighted to be invited to a simply splendid soirée hosted by the reputed Pall Mall Barbers, held at the Boisdale eaterie in Belgravia this Tuesday last. Great fun was had by all, as the canapés and Prosecco flowed thick and fast.
